இந்தியா முழுவதும் 53,021 மாணவர்களுக்கு INSPIRE விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன
மத்திய அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப அமைச்சர் டாக்டர் ஜிதேந்திர சிங் சமீபத்தில் INSPIRE திட்டத்தின் கீழ் சுமார் 53,000 மாணவர்களுக்கு நிதி உதவி வழங்கியுள்ளார்.
INSPIRE திட்டம் என்றால் என்ன?
Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) திட்டம் இந்திய அரசின் அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையால் (DST) 10 முதல் 32 வயது வரையிலானவர்களை அறிவியலையும், ஆராய்ச்சித் தொழிலையும் தொடர ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
சிறு வயதிலேயே அறிவியலின் பக்கம் திறமைசாலிகளை ஈர்ப்பதும், நாட்டில் அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப அமைப்பு மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டுத் தளத்தை வலுப்படுத்த தேவையான வளங்களை உருவாக்குவதும் இதன் நோக்கமாகும்.
இது மூன்று கூறுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது – திறமைகளை ஈர்ப்பதற்கான திட்டம் (சீட்ஸ்), உயர் கல்விக்கான உதவித்தொகை (SHE) மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி வேலைகளுக்கான உறுதியான வாய்ப்பு (AORC).
INSPIRE விருது பற்றி – MANAK
இந்திய அரசாங்கம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் SEAT திட்டத்தின் கீழ் INSPIRE விருதை – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspiration and Knowledge) வழங்குகிறது.
INSPIRE AWARDS – MANAK திட்டத்தின் கீழ், இந்தியா முழுவதும் உள்ள மாணவர்கள் பொதுவான பிரச்சனைகளை தீர்க்கக்கூடிய அசல் மற்றும் ஆக்கபூர்வமான தொழில்நுட்ப யோசனைகள் அல்லது புதுமைகளை அனுப்ப ஊக்குவிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.
தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட யோசனைகளுக்கு மாணவர்களின் தொழில்முனைவு பயணத்தை ஊக்குவிக்க தேவையான முழுமையான அடைகாக்கும் ஆதரவு வழங்கப்படும்.
இந்தத் திட்டம் 2020-21ல் இந்தியா முழுவதிலும் இருந்து 6.53 லட்சம் யோசனைகள் மற்றும் புதுமைகளை ஈர்த்துள்ளது – இது இன்று வரையிலான அதிகபட்சம்.
இது இந்தியாவில் உள்ள 702 மாவட்டங்களில் (96%) யோசனைகள் மற்றும் புதுமைகளை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தியது.
இதில் 124 ஆர்வமுள்ள மாவட்டங்களில் 123, பெண் குழந்தைகளின் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் 51 சதவீதம், கிராமப்புறங்களில் உள்ள பள்ளிகளில் இருந்து 84 சதவீதம் மற்றும் மாநில/UT அரசாங்கங்களால் நடத்தப்படும் பள்ளிகளில் 71 சதவீதம் ஆகியவை அடங்கும்.
6.53 லட்சம் மாணவர்களில், 53,021 மாணவர்களுக்கு, தாங்கள் சமர்ப்பித்த யோசனைகளுக்கான முன்மாதிரிகளை உருவாக்க, அவர்களுக்கு உதவ, 10,000 ரூபாய் நிதியுதவி வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
INSPIRE Awards conferred to 53,021 students across India
Union Minister of Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh has recently provided financial aid to around 53,000 students under the INSPIRE Scheme.
What is INSPIRE Scheme?
The Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) scheme has been implemented by Indian Government’s Department of Science and Technology (DST) to encourage people aging 10 to 32 years to pursue science and a career in research.
Its purpose is to attract talent to science at an early age and create the required resource pool for strengthening the science and technology system and research and development base in the country.
It has three components – Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent (SEATS), Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) and Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC).
About INSPIRE Award – MANAK
The Indian Government confers INSPIRE Award – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspiration and Knowledge) every year under the SEAT Program.
Under the INSPIRE AWARDS – MANAK Scheme, students across India are encouraged to send original and creative technological ideas or innovations that can solve common problems.
The chosen ideas will be provided with complete incubation support required to promote the entrepreneurial journey of students.
This scheme has attracted 6.53 Lakh ideas and innovations from across India in 2020-21 – the highest till date.
It represented ideas and innovations from 702 districts (96%) in India.
This includes 123 of the 124 aspirational districts, 51 per cent representation from girls, 84 per cent from schools in rural regions and 71 per cent of schools run by state/UT governments.
Of the 6.53 lakh students, 53,021 students have been provided with the financial support of Rs.10,000 to help them develop prototypes for the ideas they submitted.
