இந்த முயற்சி மாணவர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள், தொழில்முனைவோர், கண்டுபிடிப்பாளர்கள் மற்றும் பிறருக்கு பயிர் மேம்பாட்டிற்கான புதுமையான அணுகுமுறைகள் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப தீர்வுகளை நிரூபிக்க வாய்ப்புகளை வழங்கும்.
பயிர்த் துறையில் விரும்பிய தீர்வுகளை அடைவதைத் தவிர, விவசாயத் துறையில் தொழில்நுட்பம் சார்ந்த தீர்வுகளை பரவலாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதை ஊக்குவிக்கும்.
KRITAGYA என்பது KRI என்பதன் கிரிஷியைக் குறிக்கிறது, அதாவது விவசாயம்; Taknik என்பதற்கு TA, அதாவது தொழில்நுட்பம்; மற்றும் GYA என்பது Gyan என்பதற்கு அறிவு என்று பொருள்.

இது பயிர் துறையில் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பிரச்சனைகளை கற்றுக் கொள்ளவும், புதுமைகளை உருவாக்கவும், தீர்க்கவும் மற்றும் நாட்டில் வேலை வாய்ப்பு மற்றும் தொழில்முனைவை அதிகரிக்கவும் வாய்ப்பளிக்கும்.
இது தேசிய கல்விக் கொள்கை, 2020 இன் படி தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
முந்தைய ஹேக்கத்தான்கள் பண்ணை இயந்திரமயமாக்கல் மற்றும் விலங்கு அறிவியலில் புதுமைகளை மையமாகக் கொண்டிருந்தன.
இந்நிகழ்வுகளில் 3,000க்கும் மேற்பட்ட தனிநபர்கள் பங்கேற்று வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு ரூ.9 லட்சம் ரொக்கப் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
ஐசிஏஆர் ஆதரவின் மூலம் அக்ரி பிசினஸ் இன்குபேட்டர்கள், எம்எஸ்எம்இக்கள் மற்றும் பிற முதலீட்டாளர்களுடன் ஒத்துழைக்க, அவர்களின் கருத்தியல் முன்மொழிவுகள், அவர்களின் அளவிடுதல் மற்றும் எதிர்காலத் திட்டத்தை விரிவுபடுத்த வெற்றியாளர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் ஆதரவை வழங்கினர்.
NAHEP பற்றி
இந்திய வேளாண் ஆராய்ச்சி கவுன்சில் உலக வங்கியின் உதவியுடன் தேசிய வேளாண்மை உயர்கல்வித் திட்டத்தை (NAHEP) நவம்பர் 2017 இல் அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. மாணவர்களுக்கு உயர்தர கல்வியை வழங்குவதில் பங்கேற்கும் விவசாயப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் மற்றும் ICAR க்கு உதவுவதே இதன் முக்கிய நோக்கமாகும். இது 2017-18 முதல் ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கு 165 மில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர் செலவில் அமைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த திட்டத்திற்கான செலவை உலக வங்கி மற்றும் இந்திய அரசு சமமாக பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறது. இது ICAR இன் கல்விப் பிரிவால் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.

KRITAGYA 3.0 was launched by ICAR to promote “speed breeding” for crop improvement.
Key facts
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research along with its National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) and Crop Science Division is organizing a hackathon KRITAGYA 3.0 aimed at promoting speed breeding for the improvement of crops.
This initiative would give opportunities for students, faculties, entrepreneurs, innovators and others to demonstrate innovative approaches and technological solutions for the crop improvement.
Besides achieving desired solutions in the crop sector, it would also encourage wider adoption of technology-enabled solutions in agriculture sector.
The KRITAGYA stands of KRI for Krishi, which means agriculture; TA for Taknik, meaning technology; and GYA for Gyan meaning knowledge.
In this hackathon, students can collaborate with local startup-ups, students from technology institutions and can win a maximum of Rs.5 lakhs.
It will provide an opportunity to learn, innovate and solve problems faced in the crop sector and boost employability and entrepreneurship in the country.
It was launched in line with the National Education Policy, 2020.
The earlier hackathons focused on innovation in farm mechanization and animal science.
These events witnessed the participation of more than 3,000 individuals and winners received a cash prize of Rs.9 lakhs.
They extended support for the winners to expand their concept propositions, their scalability and future plan to collaborate with Agri Business Incubators, MSMEs and other investors through support of ICAR.
About NAHEP
The Indian Council for Agricultural Research launched the National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) in November 2017 with the assistance from the World Bank. Its main objective is to assist participating agricultural universities and ICAR in providing high quality education to students. It was set up with a total outlay of 165 million USD for five years from 2017-18. The cost of this project is equally shared between the World Bank and the Indian Government. It is implemented by the Education Division of the ICAR.
