ஸ்வச் சர்வேக்ஷன் 2022 தரவரிசை வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.  இந்தியா முழுவதும் உள்ள 4,354 நகரங்களை உள்ளடக்கி இந்த ஆண்டின் தரவரிசை வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

ஸ்வச் சர்வேக்ஷன் திட்டத்தின் மூலம் வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற விவகாரங்கள் அமைச்சகம்  இந்தியாவின் தூய்மையான நகரங்களின் பட்டியலை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

நகர்ப்புற சுகாதாரத்தை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காக இந்த முயற்சி 2016 இல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இது உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய நகர்ப்புற தூய்மை மற்றும் சுகாதார கணக்கெடுப்பு ஆகும்.

நகரங்கள் 3 அளவுருக்களின் அடிப்படையில் மதிப்பிடப்படுகின்றன- சேவை நிலை முன்னேற்றம் (மதிப்பு 3,000 மதிப்பெண்கள்), சான்றிதழ் (மதிப்பு 2,250 மதிப்பெண்கள்) மற்றும் குடிமக்களின் குரல் (மற்றும் 2,250 மதிப்பெண்கள் மதிப்பு). இது மொத்தம் 7,500 மதிப்பெண்கள்.

2022 சர்வேக்ஷன் பட்டியலில் தூய்மையான நகரமாக (1 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள்தொகையுடன்) ஏரிகள் மற்றும் அரண்மனைகளின் நகரமான இந்தூர்  6வது முறையாக முதலிடத்தைப் பிடித்தது. இந்தூரைத் தொடர்ந்து, சூரத் (தொடர்ந்து 2வது ஆண்டாக 2வது இடம்) மற்றும் நவி மும்பை ஆகியவை முறையே 2வது மற்றும் 3வது தூய்மையான நகரங்களாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

7 நட்சத்திர மதிப்பெண் பெற்ற இந்தியாவின் முதல்  குப்பையில்லா நகரமாக இந்தூர் மாறியுள்ளது. சூரத், போபால், மைசூரு, விசாகப்பட்டினம், நவி மும்பை மற்றும் திருப்பதி ஆகிய நகரங்களுக்கு  குப்பை இல்லா நகரங்கள் பட்டியலில் 5 நட்சத்திர மதிப்பெண்களைப் பெற்றுள்ளன.

1 லட்சத்திற்கும் குறைவான மக்கள்தொகை கொண்ட நகரங்களில், பட்டியலில் மகாராஷ்டிராவின் பஞ்ச்கனி முதலிடத்திலும், சத்தீஸ்கரில் படான் (NP) மற்றும் மகாராஷ்டிராவின் கர்ஹாத் இரண்டாவது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.

1 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள்தொகை கொண்ட கங்கை நகரங்களில், உத்தரகாண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள ஹரித்வார் தூய்மையான நகரமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது, அதைத் தொடர்ந்து வாரணாசி மற்றும் ரிஷிகேஷ் ஆகியவை உள்ளன.

1 லட்சத்திற்கும் குறைவான மக்கள்தொகை கொண்ட கங்கை நகரங்களில், பிஜ்னோர் தூய்மையானதாக பட்டியலிடப்பட்டது, அதைத் தொடர்ந்து கன்னௌஜ் மற்றும் கர்முக்தேஷ்வர் நகரங்கள் இடம் பிடித்தன.

இது தவிர சஃபாய் மித்ரா சுரக்ஷாவில் திருப்பதிக்கு சிறந்த நகர விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. கர்நாடகாவின் ஷிவமொக்காவுக்கு அதிவேகமாக செயல்படும் நகருக்கான விருது கிடைத்தது.

மாநிலங்களில், மத்தியப் பிரதேசம் முதலிடத்திலும், சத்தீஸ்கர் மற்றும் மகாராஷ்டிராவைத் தொடர்ந்து உள்ளன.

100 க்கும் குறைவான ULB (நகர்ப்புற உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகள்) உள்ள மாநிலங்களில், திரிபுரா முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.

Swachh Survekshan 2022

The Swachh Survekshan 2022 rankings have been released. This year’s edition covered 4,354 cities across India.

Key facts                

• The Swachh Survekshan is a list of India’s cleanest cities released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
• This initiative was started in 2016 to encourage urban sanitation. It is the largest urban cleanliness and sanitation survey in the world.
• The cities are assessed based on 3 parameters- service level progress (worth 3,000 marks), certification (worth 2,250 marks) and citizens’ voice (worth another 2,250 marks). This adds to a total of 7,500 marks.
• The 2022 edition listed Indore as the cleanest city (with more than 1 lakh population)- marking the 6^th time the city of lakes and palaces topped the Swachh Survekshan list. Following Indore, Surat (2^nd spot for 2^nd consecutive year) and Navi Mumbai were named as the 2^nd and 3^rd cleanest cities respectively.
• Indore has become India’s 1^st 7 star Garbage Free city. The title of 5 star Garbage Free city was conferred to Surat, Bhopal, Mysuru, Vishakhapatnam, Navi Mumbai and Tirupati.
• Among cities with less than 1 lakh population, the list was topped by Panchgani in Maharashtra, followed by Patan (NP) in Chhattisgarh and Karhad in Maharashtra.
• Among the Ganga towns with more than 1 lakh population, Haridwar in Uttarakhand was named the cleanest city, followed by Varanasi and Rishikesh.
• Among Ganga towns with less than 1 lakh population, Bijnor was listed as the cleanest, followed by Kannauj and Garhmukhteshwar.
• Apart from this, Tirupati was given the best city award in the Safai Mitra Suraksha. Shivamogga in Karnataka got the fast mover city award.
• Among the states, Madhya Pradesh was named as the top performer, followed by Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
• Among states having less than 100 ULBs (urban local bodies), the list was topped by Tripura.
